Moved eh?
Ok, so it has been ages since I put anything on here. I guess now is a good time since there have been a few developments.
Right now, I’m sitting in my apartment gazing out the floor to ceiling windows over looking a huge sandy beach and the Pacific Ocean. I have to say that of all the places I’ve lived, this is definately one with an amazing view and possibly an unbeatable lifestyle.
I moved here, to Vancouver, a few months ago and although winter is here and I am in Canada after all, there is no snow. Not a hint of it. Yesterday, the sun was shining, it was 12 degrees, beautiful blue skies yet 35 minutes from here I was able to trudge through metre deep snow on Grouse Mountain.
Trail Canada is going from strength to strength. In case you didn’t know, Trail Canada is my network of Canadian travel websites which are the most popular independent guides to Canada. The latest version of Trail Canada came out a few days ago and I will be adding to the Vancouver section very regularly.
So far, there are plenty of photos at http://www.trailcanada.com/photos/vancouver.asp but check back regularly for more.
If anyone else I know is in my neck of the woods (i’ve bumped into a few people I know so far) then give me a shout.
Take care and see you on the Trail,
James

Trail Canada Winnipeg
Another Trail Canada regional travel guide: Trail Canada Winnipeg just went live.
The plan is to create a whole selection of Canadian city travel guides. So far Toronto and Winnipeg but coming soon: Halifax, Montreal, Ottawa, Quebec City, Calgary and Vancouver.
Enjoy.
Back in the groove with Toronto
After a period of almost neglect, I have finally managed to get back on track with the plans for the Trail Canada Travel Network.
Today saw the launch of Trail Canada Toronto, a guide dedicated to travel and tourism for the Toronto area.
Check it out and enjoy.

Canada Hotel Guide and the Trail Canada travel network
My latest web site, Canada Hotel Guide was launched earlier this month and has already showed signs of success.
Canada Hotel Guide is part of the Trail Canada travel network of Canadian travel web sites I own and operate. Trail Canada provides an umbrella for all the services which are spread out across many other sites. So far the Trail Canada travel network consists of:
Canada Travel Guide
Canada Photos
Canada Maps
Canada Hotel Guide
and
Trail Canada
Any thoughts and suggestions please do let me know! Enjoy….
Trail Canada hotel guide
My web site, Trail Canada, has just had another boost as far as content and services goes. I recently added a 1,600+ Canadian hotel guide with online rates and availability checking and the ability to book.
With the new facility, Trail Canada now has over 5,000 pages of content making it the largest travel guide to Canada and with the increasing number of daily visitors Trail Canada easily claims the top spot for being the most popular travel guide to Canada.
The next milestone will be to overtake travelcanada.ca - the official Canadian Tourism Commission’s web site for inbound travel. I estimate this will happen in the next 8 to 10 weeks.
A dedicated Canadian Hotel Guide will be launched shortly to compliment the existing network of Trail Canada web sites which includes:
Canada Travel Guide
Canada Photos
Canada Maps
